Boise - Nathan Patrick Gould
April 5, 2001 - December 18, 2024.
Boise, ID - Nathan Patrick Gould was an amazing young man. Born in Roseville, CA to Greg Gould and Angie Gould. Nathan moved to Idaho with his family in 2008 and graduated from Mountain View High School in 2019.
Nathan never met a stranger. He would do anything to help anyone at any time, he was very generous with his talents, time, and "gifts." Nathan was always laughing and making other people laugh. His shock value was a part of his charm.
Nathan had a passion for music and while he played in school and had some informal lessons and training, he was largely self-taught. He could play any instrument. He and his friends formed a band, wrote their own music, performed shows, and practiced religiously in the studio Nathan's dad maintained for them in his home in Boise. If Nathan met a child that wanted to learn how to play the guitar, he would go buy them one at a pawn shop - he was that kind of young man.
Nathan loved spending time with his older brother, Anthony. Nathan, Anthony, and friends spent every summer as young men in Bigfork Montana where they were able to enjoy growing up and being close to their aunts, uncles and cousins. Nathan loved spending time on Flathead Lake engaged in all types of watersports like sailing. Bigfork won't be the same without his fun, contagious personality. Nathan also fell in love with skiing and snowboarding after his first lesson at Tamarack, and he would try and get as much time in as possible at Idaho's wonderful ski resorts.
Nathan worked as an Inventory Lead at a local manufacturing company, and he loved his job, his co-workers, and his managers. He was fortunate enough to work with his brother and mom.
The love of Nathan's life was his girlfriend Payton Ulmer. Payton and Nathan had been together for two years and they recently made the decision to buy a home and move in together.
Nathan was hit by a car while longboarding to his dad's house on the morning of December 15, 2024. Nathan passed away in the hospital from his injuries on December 18th.
Nathan is survived by father, Greg Gould, mother, Angie Gould (Dylan), older brother, Anthony Gould (Rebekkah), grandmother, Kay Sullivan, grandmother, Barbara Gould, scores of aunts, uncles, and cousins, and of course his sweetheart Payton Ulmer.
Nathan's final act of giving was the donation of all his organs, eyes and tissue, which helped save the lives of many other people. We are forever touched that people's lives were saved while our son's life was taken way too soon.
Nathan's dad and mom deeply miss the daily texts and phone calls from Nathan, or him just stopping by work or the house - their lives are forever changed. Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone.
